My name is Jeff Ward. After 40-years in the corporate world, I made a decision to devote the rest of my working years in pursuit of creative expression, with an emphasis on helping others! My wife has fibromyalgia, so I decided that becoming educated in the art and science of massage therapy would be one way that I could help her with this awful disease. Like so many others, she lives with chronic pain that is sometimes difficult for her to deal with on a daily basis. Regular massage makes a huge difference in her pain levels and quality of life.
It is with this motivation, that I have spent the time and energy learning this craft. I learned from one of the best! My instructor, Brenda Schwarzbach, is an absolutely phenomenal teacher, mentor and friend! She taught me to approach each client with the care and respect that they deserve!
Your massage treatments will be customized to your specific situation. I look forward to serving you!

Benefits of Massage
Pain management Massage can be an effective method for naturally managing the chronic pain of conditions such as fibromyalgia, sciatica or osteoarthritis.
Increased blood flow Effleurage consists of long, stroking motions in the direction of blood flow towards the heart. Increased blood flow means that your muscles are getting more oxygen and that your body is removing toxins more efficiently.
Relief for muscle injuries Pettrisage consists of kneading and friction to address existing injuries and adhesions (muscle tissues fused together) You've undoubtedly heard the expression “working out the kinks”
Increased flexibility When your muscles are more relaxed, you’re able to experience a wider range of motion. A combination of massage and regular stretching is a great way for anyone to guard against injuries and have a better quality of life.
Reduced stress The combination of the hands-on attention and the environment will relax you, lowering the level of cortisol, a stress hormone in your body. Lowering your stress level offers a surprising number of additional benefits including reducing the pain of tension headaches, improving your energy levels and a better night's sleep!
Improved immune system Reducing your cortisol levels allows your immune system to grow stronger, meaning that you’re less likely to get sick so you can spend more time doing the things you enjoy.
Swedish massage therapy is the most well-known and widely practiced type of therapeutic massage, and for good reason. This type of massage focuses on muscle relaxation and increasing blood circulation. Swedish massage is a great way to treat yourself, but it’s also a lot more than that. The physical and mental health benefits of a Swedish massage make it a great option for those new to massage or someone looking for light to medium pressure levels contributing to a wonderfully relaxing massage experience.
Similar benefits to a Swedish massage, the deeper pressure used in a deep tissue massage addresses the deeper layers of muscle with slow, deliberate strokes that are beneficial in releasing chronic muscle tension. The slower speed and more concentrated pressure encourages the muscles, fascia and tendons to relax and realign. This massage modality is often recommended to release chronic patterns of tension, reduce pain, relieve muscle spasms, improve circulation, rehab muscles and increase range of motion.
